How do I get the brightness and color controls to show?
Once you've opened the myLite app, just touch the white screen anywhere.
How do I get to the Effects control?
Just press the "Show/Hide Effects" button.
Can I hide all the controls?
Yes, you can do it all with one touch. Just touch the screen anywhere away from the controls.
How do the slider controls work?
The two slider controls allow you to change (1) the color of the flashlight's light, and (2) the brightness of the flashlight. The top slider is the color adjustment, and the bottom slider is the brightness adjustment. Just touch the blue slider ball and move it right or left for the desired result.
What is the Strobe effect, and how do I use it?
The Strobe effect flashes your myLite in whatever color light you currently have selected on the color slider, in the time interval (speed) shown. To access this feature, just touch the "Show Effects" button when the controls are displayed.
What is the Trippin' effect, and how do I use it?
The Trippin' effect flashes your myLite screen through all its colors at the interval (speed) shown, and the slider itself also animates the color change. To access this feature, just touch the "Show Effects" button when the controls are displayed.
How can I keep my screen from going dark due to the power-saving feature?
If you need to keep your flashlight shining continuously beyond, say, 30 seconds,
you can do either of two things. First, you can keep touching your screen to make
the light come back on. Or, for an uninterrupted display, go to "Settings" from your
iPhone's main home screen, then select "General" followed by "Auto-Lock" --
then select "Never."
I want the myLite screen even brighter -- is there another way?
Yes, to ensure your screen is at the maximum possible brightness, in addition to putting
your myLite brightness Slider all the way to the right, you can also adjust brightness in your iPhone system settings. Just touch the "Settings" icon on your home screen, touch "Brightness" and then move that slider all the way to the right. (Be aware that the brighter you set your display, the more battery power you will use.)
