Previously, he served in four internships at IBM during his summer breaks, along with an internship out West for Opt-Media. Each of these assignments developed a unique part of the skill set Pete now works with. With graduation in sight, Pete is excited about his move to the Twin Cities to take on his full-time engineering role at DoApp.

Jim joined the company in April 2008. After completing his degree in Multimedia Design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, Jim worked for IBM as a visual designer. During his time, he worked on an array of projects involving Flash development, UI standards development, and motion graphics. Before joining DoApp, Jim worked for Patterson Companies in St. Paul, MN as a creative services art director, where he was responsible for improving and adding value to the company's web sites. During his short time there, he made an impact by creating a more productive process between creative services and web services. He also developed a design strategy for building consistency throughout the Patterson brands. Jim's career has been driven by his simple and entertaining design solutions.
Leaving aside UI design, Jim has always had an obsession with video and motion graphics. He has a childish infatuation with cartoons, movies, and Legos. If you catch Jim away from his computer (which is very rare), he's playing music. On weekends, he pretends to be a rock-star in a local Minneapolis band called aEstyria. Jim and his wife are always out at shows and love exploring new places to eat.
